Samantha Glenday, a high school student at Leaf Rapids Education Centre, was just awarded a Bronze medal by Youth Science Canada at the Canada-Wide Science Fair, making her the first Frontier student to win an award at the national level. Her research project, Is Bioplastic Our Future?, was also a local and division-wide winner during the FSD Science Fair 2020—our largest science fair ever.
Samantha was one of the 400 students across Canada to participate in the virtual Canada-Wide Science Fair, held on May 17-20, 2021. The fair is Canada's largest annual youth science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) event that unites young scientists and their projects. Congratulations Samantha!
