Frontier School Division is thrilled to announce that Skownan School will be the recipient of a Nutrients for Life Learning Garden Grant. The students at Skownan School will be receiving $3000 to support their Land-Based Learning Garden.
This funding will go a long way to helping the students learn about growing and supplying food in their own community. Congratulations to Ms. Huhtala and Mr. Catcheway for their hard work and dedication, and for bringing opportunities for students to learn about food sustainability and sovereignty.
Frontier School Division is excited to see the progress of the Land-Based Gardening Project as it grows in Skownan.
