This virtual gallery will run from May 17th to June 29th for voting, but May 17th to Sept 30th for viewing by the general public. There are 3 galleries this year so please remember to visit each gallery.

We have 252 submissions from 135 student artists from 18 schools. This is an increase of 85 pieces from last year, a fabulous turn out by our students.  In these difficult times it is a joy to see that the artistic spirit of our students has not been silenced. Congratulation to everyone who participated and those who assisted our students in sharing their creative talents.

Frontier School Division is proud to provide rich opportunities to our students in all areas within the Fine Arts, through in-house instruction, online instruction, internal and external visiting artists, equipment, supplies, support, contests, and exhibitions.

Voting for People's Choice will be done slightly differently as it will begin May 17th and run to June 24th. This will allow for more time for School Committee members to vote.  People's Choice is where all School Committee members will be allowed to vote once for their favorite art piece in the show. The piece with the most votes will win “People's Choice Award" which comes with a ribbon and a cash prize of $150. Votes can be submitted to: with art work number, artist name and title of the art work to be sent via email.

The art has been adjudicated by talented judges from the Arts industry, judges: Visual Artists – Shawna Grapentine & Doug Melnyk, Pat Lazo from Graffiti Art Gallery, Filmmaker – Angela Chalmers and Photographer – Hans Arnold. Every submission will receive comments by the adjudicators, along with ribbons and cash prizes for the winners, (1st $100, 2nd $75 and 3rd $50) per category and per age group, (Grade 7-8, Grade 9-10, Grade 11-12).
