On March 25, our student Kailyn Danielson​ received an amazing surprise when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited her at the hospital in Winnipeg!

This story started when Kailyn wrote a letter to the Prime Minister requesting a drug for her immune therapy be approved that existed in Germany, but not yet in Canada.

Now Kailyn is not only receiving her treatment using the newly approved drug for her therapy, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also presented her with a heroic medal of honour that he drew himself!​
