Academics

Frontier School Division recognizes the importance for students to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes as outlined in the Manitoba Education curriculum. Academic success in school is essential for students in order to meet graduation requirements, to be eligible for post-secondary programs, to gain entry into vocational training and apprenticeship programs, or to go directly into the work world.

Academic success is based in strong literacy and numeracy skills, which are the priority academic focus areas in our Division. Students who achieve the literacy and numeracy skills appropriate for their age and grade levels are often more prepared to meet the rigours of the provincial curricular demands, ultimately ensuring choice and opportunities post graduation.
